Marshfield Wastewater Test Shows Possible COVID Increase; Free Public Testing Announced

A test by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) showed a possible increase in COVID-19 in the Marshfield area.

DHSS conducted a community sewershed surveillance that showed a possible increase in the amount of COVID-19 transmitted in the community.

The DHSS and the Webster County Health Unit announced the testing results and urged residents to attend one of two upcoming community free testing events at the Webster County Fairgrounds.

The testing will take place on consecutive Wednesdays, April 21 & 28, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. No registration or appointment is required for the community testing.
