The Springfield Regional Arts Council is making art go wild this Saturday at the Dickerson Park Zoo.
The first 100 kids to visit the Zoo will receive an “Art Gone Wild” kit, which contains do-it-yourself art projects with zoo themes.
The Art Goes Wild event is an annual partnership between SRAC and the Zoo. It first began in 2002 when the Friends of the Zoo and SRAC discussed ways to provide animal-themed art activities for zoo patrons at no extra cost to them.
The Zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
