CoxHealth is building two new “super clinics” in Nixa and Ozark that they claim will give residents a “new model of care.”
The clinics, 30,000 square foot facilities, will offer primary care, urgent care, pediatric care, and physical therapy in the same location. The Ozark location will also contain a pharmacy.
“We constantly evaluate the needs of our patients so we can best serve them how and when they need us,” Max Buetow, vice president of Regional Services at CoxHealth, said in a statement. “These consolidated facilities are a new model for the health system. We believe it represents where health care is headed, and will offer even greater convenience to our patients.”
The current facilities in each community will be closed and their services transferred to the new buildings.
The Ozark facility will be located at Highway 65 and CC. Nixa’s location will be on U.S. 160 near MO-14.
CoxHealth says construction should begin before the end of 2019 with a projected opening of fall 2020.
