Police Say Missing Mother is Woman Found Stuffed in Suitcase; Children Found in Iowa

UPDATE Thursday 10 p.m.: The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the children were found safe in Iowa.

McDonald County police are asking for the public’s help in finding three young children after they believe their mother was found stuffed inside a suitcase found along a rural road.

The McDonald County Sheriff’s Office says they believe the decomposing body found inside a suitcase along Highway 59 is missing 25-year-old Jessica McCormack. In a press statement, officials said that McCormack had been missing for approximately a month but that no one had contacted law enforcement regarding the woman’s disappearance.

Officials say they were being cautious in identifying the body because of the condition of the corpse, but that after a reexamination and further investigation believe it is the body of McCormack.

McCormack’s three children have not been seen since her disappearance and the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding the missing girls.

The girls (pictured above) are Siah Casillas, 4, Saidah Noor, 1, and Intisar Mahamed, 7 months. The Sheriff’s Office is working with the Missouri State Highway Patrol regarding a statewide alert for the missing children.

Anyone who had information regarding the location of the children is asked to call the McDonald County Sheriff’s Department at 417-223-4319.
