If you plan to vote on Tuesday, you may be voting in a new location.
The Greene County Clerk announced today two permanent changes for polling locations and two temporary polling place changes for only this Tuesday.
The permanent changes involve one Springfield location connected to the now-closed Vatterott College. Residents who previously voted at the college at South Campbell and Primrose will move up Primrose to Kickapoo High School. The polling location will be inside the school’s Easy Entry on Jefferson Avenue.
The second permanent change is in Strafford. The polling location at the Stafford Senior Center has been moved to First Baptist Church of Strafford, located at 400 South Madison Avenue.
The temporary changes are in Springfield and Willard.
A group of voters in the 3rd North Campbell district who have voted at North Point Church will be voting in the 27-BC precinct located at Kansas Expressway Church of Christ, 2540 North Kansas Expressway.
A group of voters in Willard’s 1st Center precinct that normally vote at Willard Central Elementary will be voting in the Murray precinct at Willard Community Center, 222 West Jackson.
Those voters who are being moved to temporary locations should have received notices about the change. However, if you have questions about your polling location, contact the Greene County Clerk’s office at 417-868-4060.
