In a year when many events were rushing to cancel because of COVID-19, one 41-year tradition in the Ozarks continued without delay: Farmfest.
The three-day celebration of farming and farm equipment traditionally takes place during the first weekend in October at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. The 2020 event had over 1,000 exhibits and over 500 registered livestock.
Farm supply companies say that this year has seen no drop in demand from their customers, because farmers still need to get hay up, get animals to market and prepare for the winter.
