Drury University’s School of Religion is hosting a special virtual lecture from a Harvard professor examining faith in the midst of intense political pressure on Tuesday, September 15.
“Spirituality in a Time of Deep Political Division” will be presented by Dr. Stephanie Paulsell. Paulsell, the Susan Shallcross Swartz Professor of the Practice of Christian Studies at Harvard Divinity School, will look at the current political climate’s impact on the Christian faith.
Paulsell is a national writer who has written the “Christian Century” column since 2007. She is the author of “Religion Around Virginia Woolf,” “Lamentations and the Song of Songs” and “Honoring the Body: Meditations on Christian Practice.”
