Springfield Public Schools announced they will be making take home meals available to students for their days of virtual learning.
The meals must be pre-ordered from the district and paid for based on the student’s free or reduced price meal status.
According to SPS, meal pick up schedule is:
Students attending In-Person classes Monday and Tuesday: Students may take the meals they have ordered home on Tuesday when they leave for the day to use Wednesday, Thursday and Friday when they are learning from home.
Students attending In-Person classes Thursday and Friday: Students may take the meals they have ordered home on Friday when they leave for the day to use on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday when they are learning from home.
Fully Virtual Students: Students may pick up meals they have ordered for the week on Monday at their assigned school. Morning and evening pickup times will be available. If you have 100% virtual students at different locations you may pick up all meals at one site.
