The Missouri Job Center has reopened their office on the north side of Springfield, but have moved away from their previous home in the Cox Medical Tower.
The new facility will be located at the Fairbanks in north Springfield, in the city’s Grant Beach neighborhood, working in partnership with the Drew Lewis Foundation.
The goal was to place the center in a location that was more easily accessible to the people who need their services. The new location is between two bus stops and other groups to help people in need.
The center will have computers for use in job searches and for filling out applications. A full-time staff will be on hand to help job seekers with any issue that challenge someone seeking full-time employment.
The office, at 1126 North Broadway, will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..
