A pickup truck weaving all over Y Highway outside of Reeds Spring caught the eye of a Stone County deputy who had no idea he was about to arrest four people and seize a cache of methamphetamine.
The deputy stopped the vehicle and discovered the driver’s license had been revoked, so he took the driver into custody. The deputy then searched the vehicle and found:
A glass pipe with residue
Multiple ledgers tracking drug trades
A bowl with a white crystal residue
A large amount of cash
46 grams of meth with empty baggies for distribution
Three women were inside the vehicle and taken into custody by deputies. One had an outstanding warrant from other county, and a second had drugs on her person.
Prosecutors are reviewing the case to file charges.
