The Taney County Health Department is releasing public notice of confirmed cases of COVID-19 inside nursing homes.
Residents and family members who have been impacted by the cases have been notified.
“The TCHD continues working with these facilities and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (MODHSS) to ensure appropriate testing and health and safety precautions are being taken,” Lisa Marshall, Director of the Taney County Health Department, said in a statement.
The known number of cases as of 3 p.m. Tuesday:
- Point Lookout Nursing & Rehab: 32
- Shepherd of the Hills Living Center: 34
- Forsyth Nursing & Rehab: 3
- Lakeside Mountain Manor: 1
TCHD officials are continuing case investigations and notifications of discovered close contacts. A “close contact” is defined as someone who was within 6 feet of a person who is contagious for 15 minutes or more.
