For over half a century, steam engine lovers have been able to look forward to a weekend of bliss at the Steam-O-Rama. This year, that grand tradition comes to a stop as organizers have canceled the 2020 Steam-O-Rama because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ozarks Steam Engine Association made the announcement this week along with dates for what they hope will be a 2021 show.
“It is with heavy hearts that we will not be putting on a show for the first time in 59 years. All features will transition to next year,” OSEA President Charley Stark wrote.
The OSEA also canceled their August meeting but plan to resume meetings in October.
