Girl Scouts Offering Online Camp

The Girl Scouts may not be able to spend the time together in a cabin fighting off mosquitos and going on snipe hunts, but they will be able to get together virtually for a summer of learning and fun.

Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland are offering an online summer camp for girls from Kindergarten to 12th grade that start this week.

The campers will be split into 5 age groups to learn a different curriculum. Session times will vary based on age group, but each will have a morning and afternoon session during the week. The groups are:

  • Daisy: Kindergarten and Grade 1
  • Brownie: Grades 2-3
  • Junior: Grades 4-5
  • Cadette: Grades 6-8
  • Senior/Ambassador: Grade 9-12

Each four-week session costs $59 for current Girl Scouts and $84 per session for non-scouts, which will include a membership. A non-refundable deposit of $29 is required for registration.

Summer Camp Care packages with special items for campers can be ordered by parents. All Scouts that complete their sessions will earn a “S’more Fun” badge. Financial aid is available.
