The Breech of School of Business at Drury University has been again honored as one of the top business schools in the world with re-accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, or AACSB International.
The organization has been monitoring business schools since 1916, and Drury is one of only 840 schools in the world to receive the AACSB accreditation.
“Earning reaccreditation with AACSB involves a rigorous process of review and continual improvement, and successfully meeting such high standards is a testament to the dedication of our faculty and staff to student learning and success,” Dr. Clif Petty, interim dean of the Breech School, said in a statement. “This is truly a confirmation of the high quality of a Drury University business degree.”
The accreditation requires excellence in multiple areas including: strategic management and innovation; student, faculty, and staff as active participants; learning and teaching; and academic and professional engagement.
Specifically cited by the accreditation team was the school’s new MBA program, and an interdisciplinary program in cycbersecurity.
The Breech School will also get a boost in 2022 when they move into their new facility, the Enterprise Center. A groundbreaking for the new building will take place in fall 2020.
