Works from Bill Armstrong to Benefit Springfield Symphony

The Springfield Symphony Orchestra is hosting a special virtual art gallery event through July 16th featuring the watercolor art of late artist Bill H. Armstrong.

The virtual show will feature both prints and original artwork with all the proceeds benefiting the Symphony, in honor of Armstrong’s life-long love of arts and music.

“It has been a magnificent obsession for over forty years,” Armstrong said about his love of the arts.

Armstrong established a graphic design curriculum at Southwest Missouri State University and was the program director for twenty years. He also maintained a full-time studio dedicated to his watercolor work in Springfield.

The gallery of art available can be seen at this link. All prices are firm, and if you would like to see the artwork in person before purchase, you can contact the Springfield Symphony’s office to make arrangements for viewing.

If you want more information, contact the Symphony at 417-864-6683.
