While the COVID-19 outbreak has made the organizers of some long time Fourth of July celebrations call things off, others are having celebrations of the nation’s birthday. Here are some of the upcoming fireworks shows to celebrate July 4:
Friday July 3: Branson Landing’s 13th Annual Liberty Light Up
Branson Landing’s annual event will include music by bands including Mile Zero and Dirty Saints starting around 4:30 p.m. with fireworks scheduled at 9 p.m..
Friday July 3: Fireburst Celebration in Kimberling City
The free event at the Missouri 13 bridge over Table Rock Lake will have fireworks fired over the water starting at dusk, which is estimated at 9 p.m..
Friday July 3: Lake Norfork
Fireworks show to take place at the bridges on 101 and 62. The free display takes place at dusk.
Saturday, July 4: 141st Independence Day Parade & Fireworks, Marshfield
Marshfield is bringing their 141st annual 4th of July parade that will kick off the day’s event. (Unlike previous years, candy will not be thrown out to the kids lining the parade route.) Fireworks will take place around 9:15 p.m..
Saturday July 4: Rockaway Beach
The party in Rockaway Beach begins at noon and is free. Music will take place through the day, along with carnival games and food vendors. Fireworks scheduled for 9:30 p.m..
Big Cedar Lodge announced Monday their annual fireworks event will be closed to the public this year, although the event will still take place for Lodge guests.
