The Christian County Sheriff’s Office took part in a fundraiser Saturday to help cover the medical costs of Springfield Police Officer Mark Priebe, paralyzed in an attack outside police headquarters.
The fundraiser took place at the Vineyard Market and B-29 Cafe in Ozark.
“I’m always happy to see people from our community reaching out to assist others in need,” Christian County Sheriff Brad Cole said in a Facebook statement. “This type of compassion and support truly makes me proud to be their Sheriff.”
The barbeque event included a car and bike show and silent auction to raise funds for Priebe.
