The Springfield-Greene County Health Department announced early Friday evening a new potential community exposure to COVID-19.
The exposure is related to someone who went to work while infected and developed symptoms while they were at work at La Hacienda, 1370 South Glenstone.
The employee worked Tuesday, June 16th, from 2 to 9 p.m.. The employee was wearing a mask.
SGCHD officials say that anyone who was at the restaurant during that time does not have to self-isolate, but should monitor for symptoms. If symptoms appear, isolate and contact your primary health care provider.
“This latest case is another reminder for all of us to interact with our environment carefully,” SGCHD officials said in a statement. “When we go out in public, we need to practice physical distancing and wear a mask whenever possible. If someone is sick or thinks they may be sick, they need to stay home. “
A list of community exposures in the last 14 days is available on the Health Department website.
