The Christian County Health Department (CCHD) has reported two new cases of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to 37 (32 confirmed, 5 probable.)
The currently active case has been found to be connected to a previous positive case. They are quarantined at home and close contacts have been notified.
The new case had a public exposure:
Saturday June 13: Lamberts Cafe, Ozark, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Anyone at Lamberts during that time is at low risk for contracting COVID-19 but is urged to monitor themselves for symptoms. If you start to develop COVID-19 symptoms, self-quarantine and contact your primary care provider.
CCHD officials are urging citizens to take personally responsible steps to protect themselves and their community from COVID-19 by staying home if you’re sick, wearing a mask while out in the community, socially distancing at public locations, and practicing good hygiene.
