Drury Lady Panthers head coach Amy Eagan announced her team announced another signee for their 2020-21 roster with the addition of Reagan Courier out of Big Foot High school in Delavan, Wisconsin.
Courier, a 5’9″ guard, set the career scoring record at her high school finishing with 1,327 points. She helped her team to a conference championship as a freshman, and a regional crown in her sophomore year. She was selected by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association to play in the state All-Star Game after averaging 13.5 points in her senior season and putting up 17.5 points per game as a junior in 2018-19. She was also named a First Team all-conference and all-area performer. In addition to setting her school’s career scoring record, she also owns the single-game scoring record at her high school.
“We are very excited to add Reagan to our Lady Panther family,” said Eagan. “Reagan will be a very versatile guard for us with the ability to bring the ball up or defend in the four-spot. Her length, athleticism, and basketball-IQ immediately caught my attention. Add in her ability to shoot and finish at the rim, and that will make her a great fit for our system. She is also a phenomenal young lady and a great student! I look forward to coaching her in the next four years!”
Courier joins fellow signees Haley Meely (5’4″, Jenks HS, Jenks, Okla.), Allie Clevenger (5’8″, Clever HS, Clever, Mo.), and Katie Kirkhart (Sr., 5’9″, Oral Roberts Univ. / Hilldale HS, Muskogee, Okla.). The Lady Panthers hope to make additional signings to their 2020-21 class later this summer.
Drury finished the 2019-20 season undefeated at 32-0, won GLVC regular season title going 20-0 in league play, won their fourth straight GLVC tournament championship, and ended the year ranked number one in NCAA-II. 2019-20 marked the second consecutive year the Lady Panthers completed an undefeated regular season.
