Drury Lady Panthers head coach Amy Eagan announced her team has added guard Katie Kirkhart, a transfer from Oral Roberts University, to their 2020-21 roster.

The 5’9″ native of Muskogee, Oklahoma will enter Drury as a senior after playing three seasons at ORU. Kirkhart played in all 31 games for the Golden Eagles last year while making 21 starts and averaged 5.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. She scored a career-high 22 points against 20th ranked South Dakota last season. Kirkhart made 10 starts as a sophomore and appeared in 14 games during her freshman season.

A product of Hilldale High school in Muskogee, Oklahoma, she was an all-state performer and was a semifinalist for Oklahoma Miss Basketball honors. A multi-sport athlete, Kirkhart won the 2015 4A individual state girls golf championship and helped her team to three team state titles. She was recently named the Area Female Athlete of the Decade by the Muskogee Phoenix.

“We are very excited to add Katie to our Lady Panther family,” said Eagan. “Katie will add much-needed experience and athleticism to our guard position with our recent graduations. She is also a phenomenal young lady and a great student! I expect Katie to make an immediate impact in our program and look forward to coaching her this year!”

Kirkhart joins fellow signees Haley Meely (5’4″, Jenks HS, Jenks, Okla.), and Allie Clevenger (5’8″, Clever HS, Clever, Mo.). The Lady Panthers will make additional announcements in the next several days.
