The Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield has relieved CEO Charlyce Ruth of her duties.
The news was confirmed to OI through an email from HBA Board President Travis Miller, citing what he called changing market conditions.
“Over the past few months the HBA Board of Directors and Executive Committee have been exploring new ways to increase membership engagement and value,” Miller said in a statement. “We appreciate the good stewardship Charlyce has lent to this organization over the past 21 years. Her dedication and service has been greatly appreciated by the HBA Board of Directors and Executive Committee.”
Miller is currently the acting leader of the HBA until they conduct a search for a new executive officer.
