The Springfield Regional Arts Council announced their 12th Annual Member’s Show is heading to the internet.
The exhibit is an online 3D museum gallery hall. The gallery is available through the Springfield Regional Arts Council website.
“The Creamery Arts Center exhibitions are an important way for our local and regional artists to grow and develop their skills, and we knew we had to find a way to keep supporting that during the Covid-19 crisis,” Rachel Johnson, Director of Exhibitions and Programming, said in a statement. “It’s been a silver lining during this pandemic, to learn how to incorporate these platforms so that we can continue to enhance our artist’s experiences and opportunities.”
Johnson created a professional development workshop to help artists use the platform. The members even participated in a virtual “opening reception” to talk about their work.
