The Springfield-Greene County Health Department has announced a COVID-19 public exposure in Springfield.
A COVID-19 patient, prior to being diagnosed but while symptomatic and infectious, visited Bricktown Brewery at 2040 East Independence on Sunday, May 31, around 6 p.m. and stayed for about 90 minutes.
Anyone who was at that location is considered low risk for contracting COVID-19, but the invididual in question was not wearing a face covering, which can increase risk for transmission.
SGCHD officials say there is no need to self-quarantine if you were at Bricktown Brewery during the potential exposure time, but to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.
