Silver Dollar City Announces Reopening; Visitors Must Reserve Dates to Visit

Silver Dollar City has announced they will be reopening from the COVID-19 lockdown.

The park will open to season pass holders on Saturday, June 13th, and will open to the general public on Monday, June 15th.

“Creating Memories Worth Repeating is our mission. Families are facing many challenges today, and we are excited to welcome them to create new and exciting memories,” Brad Thomas, President and General Manager of Silver Dollar City, said in a statement. “We’ve spent months planning and preparing to open within the health and safety guidance from our industry and governmental experts.  We encourage our guests to read through changes we have made as they make plans for their visit.”

The park is going to require anyone who wants to visit to reserve the date they want to attend so the park can maintain proper social distancing guidelines. The park released the following information on admission procedures:

  • Reservations can be made at and on our mobile app.  Additional details and a “how-to” video are posted in both locations to assist guests with this new process.
  • Additionally, prior to entering the facilities, hosts and visitors will have a touchless temperature scan.  For the protection of each other, guests (age 3 and up) and all hosts will be required to wear a mask.
  • Further information on all safety and operational changes is available at

The park will be opening their new Rivertown Smokehouse and Cinnamon Bread Bakery at the opening of the park. The new Mystic River Falls river raft ride will not open until later in the summer.

WhiteWater will be opening for season pass holders on Monday, June 15, and to the public on Wednesday, June 16. Restrictions at WhiteWater will be the similar to Silver Dollar City.

The Showboat Branson Belle will resume on Saturday, June 20. Reservations are being suggested but will not be required. Entry requirements will match the other two properties.
