Greene County Commission Approves New COVID-19 Restrictions

The Greene County Commission Monday passed their next phase in stepping down from the COVID-19 lockdown.

The Commissioners voted for restrictions that would allow houses of worship to continue without restriction other than CDC recommended social distancing guidelines. The restrictions on businesses would move from 25 percent of occupancy to 50 percent of occupancy based on the previously established formula.

However, retail sales remains at 25 percent.

Mass gatherings are limited to 50 people with social distancing requirements.
