A local educator is making a move that will cause a shakeup in the upper levels of two districts.
Dr. Shane Dublin will be moving to the Willard School District as the Assistant Superintendent of Academics. The appointment was announced at the most recent Willard Board of Education meeting.
“Willard has a tradition of excellence and I look forward to being a part of this outstanding district,” Dublin said in a statement. “My family and I are very excited to join the Willard team!”
Dublin has been Springfield Public Schools’ Executive Director of Secondary Learning for the last four years. He has experience as a principal in the Bolivar and Halfway school districts.
“Shane’s family values and deep love for people – especially students – makes him a perfect fit for our Willard Family,” Dr. Matt Teeter, Willard Schools Superintendent, said in a statement.
