Springfield-Greene County Health Department Announces New COVID-19 Public Exposures in Willard

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department has issued a new warning of potential exposures to the coronavirus by a patient who had COVID-19 but had not yet been diagnosed with the illness.

The patient visited two locations on May 15. They were wearing a facemask at the time, but did not know they were infectious.

  • Dollar General, 401 South Miller, Willard from 10-11 a.m.
  • Apple Market, 500 Miller Road, Willard, 11 a.m.-Noon

Anyone in those locations is not asked to quarantine but to be aware of any potential symptoms of COVID-19.

If you develop any of the following, contact your primary care physician:

  • cough, 
  • fever, 
  • shortness of breath, 
  • chills, 
  • muscle pain, 
  • sore throat 
  • and new loss of taste or smell
