The deadline for any registered voter seeking an absentee ballot for the rescheduled April election is today, Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller is reminding voters the request for an absentee ballot needs to be into his office before 5 p.m. today for anyone who is unable to physically go to the polls on June 2.
The mailed ballots will then need to be notarized and returned by mail or to the clerk’s office by 7 p.m. on election day.
In-person absentee voting will continue through June 1 at the County Clerk’s office in the historic Greene County Courthouse. Those voting hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. A special day for in-person absentee voting will take place Saturday, May 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Elections Center on North Boonville.
Anyone with questions should contact the Greene County Clerk’s office at 868-4060.
