Missouri Senator Roy Blunt gave a speech on the Senate floor marking National Police Week and to pay tribute to Missouri law enforcement officers who have given their lives in the line of duty.
Among the officers that Blunt saluted was fallen Springfield officer Christopher Walsh, who was shot and killed in the line of duty by a madman in the March 16, 2020 Kum N’ Go shooting.
Blunt also paid tribute to two other Missouri officers who were killed in the line in the last 12 months: North County Police Cooperative Officer Michael Langsdorf and Lakeshire Chief Wayne Neidenberg.
