If your lockdown has contained sweaty fingers itching to turn the pages of a new novel, your wait is over.
The Springfield-Greene County Library system has reopened drive-thru service at multiple locations. The windows will be open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. until the library is able to resume full operations.
The library will be “quarantining” every item that is returned for 24 hours before cleaning and reshelving the item to protect staff and readers.
Drive-thru service is available at the Library Center on South Campbell, the Library Station on North Kansas Expressway, the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch, Republic, and Willard.
The Library also announced they are waiving any late fees through July.
