Hy-Vee announced that they will be limiting meat purchases at all their locations because of concerns they will be unable to get enough product.
Hy-Vee released a statement on Tuesday announcing the move.
“At Hy-Vee, we have product available at our stories but due to work shortages at plants as well as an increase in meal sales, customers may not find the specific products they were looking for,” the company said in a statement. “Because of this, we are going to put a limit on customer purchases in the meat department.”
Customers will be limited to four packages of any combination of ground beef, chicken, and pork.
