The Taney County Health Department announced Friday afternoon two more residents have tested positive for COVID-19.
The new cases being Taney County’s total cases to 5.
“This is a time for each community member to take social responsibility in keeping COVID-19 from spreading. States Lisa Marshall Director of TCHD, “We can’t stress enough the
importance of prevention measures to keep COVID-19 from spreading. Please stay home unless you need essentials such as medication or food, or you are an essential worker and must go to work.”
TCHD officials are reminding people who may think they have COVID-19 to contact their healthcare provider by phone and to not visit their offices before making contact. They also urge people to use telemedicine options like CoxHealth’s Virtual Visit, where the visit is free using the code COVID.
