Lake Country Soccer has announced a partnership with FC Legacy, Magic Soccer Club, and other southwest Missouri soccer organizations to form a new organization aiming at developing soccer talent.
Southwest MO Rush (SWMO Rush) will be a partner of MO Rush based in St. Louis, and an affiliate of the national Rush Soccer organization.
“Rush Soccer partners with over a hundred clubs across the globe in pursuance of fulfilling its very mission: to provide an unparalleled soccer experience: Progressive. Ambitious. Comprehensive,” Rush Soccer said in a statement. “With over 32,000 players involved in the Rush network, Rush Soccer focuses on the formation and expansion of a developmental pyramid, creating pathways not only for the elite players but its entire membership.”
SWMO Rush will be looking to hire a Director of Coaching. The organization’s staff was announced in the press release:

- Academy Director: Bruce Deaton

Lake Country Soccer is also going to be working with the Springfield Sports Commission to bring a new soccer event to the area. The goal is to bring many of the 100 Rush Soccer affiliated clubs to the Springfield area.
SWMO Rush Soccer’s competitive teams will have tryouts during the week of June 6, 2020 at Lake Country Soccer’s Cooper Family Soccer Complex. Registration for recreational teams opens July 1, 2020.
