Community Partnership Establishes COVID-19 Task Force for Homeless

Community Partnership of the Ozarks has established a task force to work multiple community organizations to help the homeless population in the region during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The COVID-19 Task Force includes organizations that provide services directly to the community’s homeless population, along with representatives from City of Springfield, the Greene County Health Department, the Greene County Office of Emergency Management, MSU Care, Mercy and CoxHealth.

The task force collects information and distributes necessary information to those who are working with the homeless population to find safe and healthy services. They will also coordinate with government entities regarding delivery of services and goods to those in need in line with city or county ordinances and protocols from the health department.

For more information on the task force and how you can help, visit the Community Partnership’s COVID-19 website.
