Parents who are looking for something for their kids to do while they’re out of school could help them find a furry pen-pal.
Kids can send their messages to the animals by sending an email to the Zoo’s public relations director, and the Zoo will be posting videos on Facebook of the letters being shared with the animals.
“Kids may write and ask questions, share something they’ve learned after researching an animal or just share what’s on their mind. The goal is to provide something fun, educational and interactive while we are going through this difficult time,” said zoo spokeswoman Joey Powell.
A list of the animals is available through the Zoo’s app or on the website.
