Christian County health officials confirmed that the spouse of their first COVID-19 case has now tested positive for the virus.
The department says the couple attended a “group event” in a bordering state where they were exposed to COVID-19.
“We do not have any community spread in Christian County,” read a press release from the Christian County Health Department.
The CCHD says that three individuals are showing symptoms of COVID-19 and are waiting on testing. The county has 29 tests pending and 62 people have been quarantined.
