Drury guard Conley Garrison has been named a Google Cloud Academic All-District performer by the College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA).
Honorees were selected for academic performance in combination with their athletic achievements. Garrison was one of only six players selected from the district that includes players from the Great Lakes Valley Conference, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
Garrison is a Finance major and carries a 3.60-grade point average. Earlier this year, he was named a First Team All-GLVC selection and was selected to the league’s All-Defensive team. Garrison finished sixth in the league in scoring averaging 18.2 points, and in conference-only games, his 19.5 points per game were third-best in the GLVC. The junior from Bolivar, Missouri, ranked second in the league in assists with 5.1 per contest; he was third in steals with 1.9 per game, his .853 free throw percentage ranked fourth, and his 89 three-pointers were the fourth-most in the conference.
The award is Garrison’s first Academic All-District selection of his career.
The Panthers ended the season with a 20-9 record and a 13-7 mark in the GLVC.
