The Springfield-Greene County Health Department has added another option for residents who have questions or concerns about the novel coronavirus outbreak in the area.
The department already had a hotline in place for residents to ask questions by calling 417-874-1211 or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, but now they have added a live chat option through the Health Department website.
To use the live chat, visit the city’s Coronavirus information website: health.springfieldmo.gov/coronavirus. When you land on the page, at the bottom right corner of your screen, you’ll see a blue circle with a chat icon inside the circle. Next to it should be a box that reads “Need help? Click here and start chatting with us!”
Click the box and you will be connected to one of the staff working in the SGCHD’s hotline area.
