Ozark Declares State of Emergency

The city of Ozark, Missouri has declared a state of emergency because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The declaration says the state of emergency will go through April 1 at midnight.

The city is a asking residents:

  • Practice social distancing and communicate more via e-mail, phone, and video calling.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces in your home daily.
  • Practice good personal hygiene including washing your hands for at least 20 seconds several times a day, or use a hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol.
  • Monitor your personal health and stay home for 14 days if you show signs of illness.
