The body of slain Springfield Police Officer Christopher Walsh was transported today from the Greene County Medical Examiner’s office to a local funeral home and his brothers and sisters in arms honored him as he was moved to the funeral home.
Members of the Springfield Police Department along with various city staff lined Boonville Avenue to pay tribute to Officer Walsh.
Donations continue for the wife and daughter of Officer Walsh. The Springfield Police Officers’ Association has arranged a memorial fund for the family.
