If you want your little one to attend preschool in the Ozark School District, registration is now open for their screening process.
Child who live within the Ozark School District can participate in the free preschool screening during the week of March 23-27. Children who are 3 years old on or before July 31, and children who are 4 years old.
“Early Childhood education provides the foundation to prepare children for their future,” Early Childhood Principal Laura Eakins said in a statement. “Preschool is more than learning your ABCs and learning numbers, it focuses on the whole child, developing the necessary skills to be successful in school and life.”
The district is planning to expand their early childhood services as part of their “Operation Renovate & Innovate” campaign. If voters pass a $26.5 million no tax increase bond measure in April, the current District Office will be given a complete renovation to double the size of the Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center to allow for 200 more students.
