Drury University is one of 30 liberal arts colleges that has earned the honor of being a “best value” for students.
Drury was given the honor by Great Value Colleges, who evaluated schools in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma and South Dakota.
“Recognition of the quality and value a Drury education provides continues to grow in a variety of contexts, thanks to Your Drury Fusion,” Provost Dr. Beth Harville said in a statement. “Drury not only stacks up extremely well when compared to other universities on lists such the U.S. News & World Report rankings, but also compared to schools similarly grounded in the liberal arts tradition.”
Drury was highly rated in a series of categories:
- General education curriculum

- Historical significance
- PayScale’s 20-year return on investment
This is not the first award for value in education recently given to Drury University: they were named 2020 Top 20 Midwest Regional University by U.S. News & World Report with a citation for being a “best value.”
