The owner of a duck boat that sank into Table Rock Lake, killing 17 people, has settled the last pending lawsuit related to the accident.
Ripley Entertainment had 31 lawsuits filed against them after the July 2018 incident on Table Rock Lake in Branson. The final suit, filed by Joseph and William Strecker, was brought to court with a joint motion for the judge to approve a settlement.
Fourteen people survived the accident.
Operations of Ride The Ducks ended after the sinking. Three employees, including the captain, are facing federal criminal charges.
