Dine Out for Hunger Begins Sunday

A group of area restaurants are banding together for a week to raise money for hungry families throughout the Ozarks.

The restaurants will be featuring special menu items with a portion of each benefitting the Ozarks Food Harvest. SGC Foodservice has announced they will provide a financial match to any purchase.

“Donations to Ozarks Food Harvest tend to slow down after the holidays,” Denise Gibson, director of development and communication at Ozarks Food Harvest, said in a statement. “This will help support local restaurants while providing meals for food- insecure families, who often struggle even more during the winter months.”

Fifty cents of each featured meal or item will be donated to Ozarks Food Harvest.

The restaurants participating in this even to help Ozarks Food Harvest serve almost 30,000 people per week are:
