Every dollar you give to the Salvation Army’s Red Bucket campaign in the next few days could end up being two dollars thanks to Bass Pro Shops.
The Salvation Army announced that Bass Pro will be matching up to $10,000 in donations through Thursday.
The donation match is part of “Bucket Blitz,” a special event within the overall Red Bucket campaign that runs through the end of the year. The overall campaign is hoping to raise $1 million for the Salvation Army for next year’s programs.
In addition to buckets at Bass Pro Shops, donation locations for the Bucket Blitz include Chick-Fil-A locations and the east entrance to the Battlefield Mall.
The campaign is currently only 34% of the way to their goal. Last week, counterfeit $100 bills were dropped in various kettles and a police investigation is ongoing.
