Branson performer and businessman Dino Kartsonakis has announced he will be auctioning off his signature jeweled keyboard piano as a fundraiser for the Salvation Army.
The auction is currently underway and will end on December 23rd at 9:30 a.m.. The auction is online through the website 32 Auctions.
“ I was five years old when I was given my first Christmas toy from The Salvation Army in New York City,” Kartsonakis said in a statement. “When my parents crossed over to the United States from Greece on to Ellis Island they were, needless to say, without finances. The Salvation Army made provision to give us food and my first Christmas Toy. I will always be grateful to The Salvation Army for being such a caring organization, who spreads goodwill to thousands of families during the Christmas Holiday Season. This Dino Signature Keyboard Jeweled Piano is my gift of appreciation for such an amazing organization.”
In addition to the piano, the winning bidder will get a pair of guest passes to the Christmas with Dino show at Shepherd of the Hills Playhouse and will meet Dino.
The Salvation Army says they will use the proceeds of the donation to assist thousands of children through their Christmas Assistance Program. The Army hosts the “Toy Shop,” a place where families who sign up to receive assistance during the Christmas Season receive toys, food, and other items.
