Seniors Offered Help with Obamacare Wednesday

SeniorAge Area Agency on Aging is giving seniors an opportunity to get questions about Obamacare answered in a partnership with Fordland Clinic and Cover Missouri.

A special event will be held Wednesday at the Library Center, 4653 South Campbell in Springfield, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Advisors from the organizations will be on hand to help seniors:

  • Explore plans for 2020
  • Sign up for plans that a senior may feel meets their need
  • Understand changes to health insurance rules
  • Update financial information on their existing application if they have used the healthcare marketplace (they will need their existing login information)

Anyone showing up is encouraged to bring a social security number or resident card; W-2 information or tax returns; and a list of doctors and medications.

Appointments for the event can be scheduled by calling 417-862-0762. Information is also available at senioragemo.org.
