The director of communications for the Ozark School District has been elected to the board of a statewide organization.
Casey Owens will serve as a board member on the Missouri School Public Relations Association representing the Ozark Region. She will serve one year on the board beginning July 1.
The MOSPRA is the state chapter of the National School Public Relations Association and consists of our regions: Western (Kansas City area), “Mid-State”, Ozark (southwest Missouri), and Eastern (St. Louis area.)
The organization strives to give the public a better understanding of the objectives and needs of public schools in their area.
