Drury University has announced a major building expansion that will be the home of the Breech School of Business Administration.
The new building, a three-story, 54,772 square foot building, will also house the Cox Compass Center, and an executive conference center. Groundbreaking for the new building will take place in 2020.
“The Enterprise Center is the next major step forward in Drury’s campus master plan,” Drury President Dr. Tim Cloyd said in a statement. “It will not only be a space that will allow our incredible business programs to continue to shine, but also a lynchpin academic space for the Your Drury Fusion curriculum.”
The finished Enterprise Center will not only house the Breech School but the Department of Political Science and International Affairs. The Center will also house the Cox Compass Center, which offers academic advisement, career planning, and academic life coaching.
“The Breech faculty and leadership will define the experience, as they always have, but the new building will open creativity and innovation, and enhance the student experience,” Drury Trustee and CEO of TransLand Mark Walker said in a statement. “The Enterprise Center’s impact will go beyond the business program, however, as we combine form and function in ways that showcase the valuable interdisciplinary teaching and learning of Your Drury Fusion.”
The project is the largest construction project on the Drury campus in almost a decade.
